Build the giraffe step by step
Step 1: lay the front legs
Lay four planks flat, two by two, to draw the two front legs.
Step 2: draw the chest
Above the front legs, lay three Kapla: two at an angle for the chest, and one to start the belly.
Step 3: finish the belly
Add two planks to finish the belly and draw the top of the thigh.
Step 4: lay a back leg
Lay two planks straight up, one above the other, just like the front legs.
Step 5: finish the back and tail
Draw the back end of the giraffe with three Kapla, the last one at an angle: that is the tail.
Step 6: draw the back
Lay five planks end to end, from the tail forward, rising a little each time. This is the giraffe’s back.
Step 7: raise the neck
Lay three planks in a line, rising at an angle. This is the giraffe’s long neck!
Step 8: add the head
Finish with three planks at the end of the neck: two for the head, and one laid on top for the little horns. Your giraffe is finished!
